Have you ever questioned yourself? "What is my Purpose?" or "What do I see myself doing for the rest of my life?"...In order for me to find out the answer to these question I had to look within myself!

Being happy wasn't about money for me but it was about finally doing what I was created to do.
I've always asked myself this question growing up...I never really found my true identity until about the age of 33 years old, which was only a couple years ago when I became a stylist. I've always lived in other people's shadow of what they thought my life should look like or be... I found out I always had a passion for doing hair and making other people look and feel beautiful because it was always something I did on the side. Even working my 9 to 5 I always had a passion to create through the art of hair...but I never believed I was good enough to do this full time as a career....
Have you ever questioned yourself? "What is my Purpose?" or "What do I see myself doing for the rest of my life?"...In order for me to find out the answer to these question I had to look within myself! What is it that makes me happy". Being happy wasn't about money for me but it was about finally doing what I was created to do. Once I aligned my life with what God had for me I then began to be fulfilled. I finally listened to me and tuned out everyone else's opinions of who they thought I should be.
In life we all have an identity crisis at some point but we must learn to give ourselves permission to be who we are purposed to become...
This doesn't happen overnight but with time and connecting ourselves with like
minded individuals we can definitely get there. Once I began to silence all of the opinions, negative thoughts, and passive aggressive behaviors of others close to me, I then began to align my thoughts with Gods thoughts about me.
How do I began to find out who I am....
-Began to dream again. Block out any thing that doesn't align itself with where you are going.
-Give yourself Permission. Write a letter to yourself and give yourself permission to do the things that people told you, that was never going to happen. Also forgive yourself for your past hurts that still plague you.
-Affirmations. Tell yourself who you are everyday and walk in your purpose.
