Why is Social Media important to the growth & expansion of your business?

" I don't do Social Media"..... This is a phrase I hear all the time and in 2025 we are not doing this! Being visible or relevant on social media is one of the things that I've learned to do being a new entrepreneur in my Industry. I am a hairstylist and social media is the one thing that has helped me to get my business identity out in the world. Now, I am not saying it's the only relevant way to get your business name out there because word of mouth still works but 90% of the time consumers are on their smart phones!!! Growing your business online doesn't happen overnight! It takes strategy, prayer, planning, and consistency....But most Importantly it takes TIME MANAGEMENT. Social media doesn't have to be a hard task. Creating Batch Content (content done all in one day) helps you to prepare your weeks or months ahead at one time...Side Note: Sis, that content that's sitting in your phone is waiting to be posted....Post It!!!!

Be Yourself: I know, I Know...We hear this phrase all the time, " Authenticity is Key to getting noticed online!" And however "cliche" it may be it is definitely True. For Example, If you go into @Target and pass out your business cards

to a potential clients, the reason that they would

probably spend any money with you is because they are Attracted to YOU!

~This is the same way online people want to feel like they can relate to you because something you did or said Resonates with them.

Do it Scared: The reason why most people don't get on camera, or Go Live is because they let their fears get the best of them. That was me until I started to feel more confident on camera by taking baby steps. For Example, Pre~record yourself with short 10 second videos but don't post it. This will allow you to SEE & CRITIQUE what you don't like but not too much because your audience don't want to watch something that feels scripted. I did this before I actually started making Reels on Instagram. These are just a few ways that you can start maximizing the Growth In your business through Social Media!!!

Post it Sis: Okay once you have found your Authenticity (Be Yourself), Started feeling comfortable on camera, Then you can find the courage to Post the Content Sis or Bro....Its so many of us who hold back posting content that will take our businesses to the next level because of what people will say or think of what we are posting.But I've learned that Posting the Content is the only way to analyze whether or not it will do well once it gets out to the masses. Then and only then will you be able to distinguish the Good content vs. the Bad content.

When it comes to creating content it doesn't take alot of effort to post on Social Media...Everyone is on Social Media and it helps your business to be streamlined to different platforms. The Growth & Expansion, also Success of your business depends on your Social Media presence in 2025 so lets get out of our comfort zones and put our Business on front street!!!
